ENFIELD ROUND TERM 4, 2020

PROBLEM OF PRACTICE: How well are we teaching explicitly?
*Do students have clarity about what they are learning and  its purpose?
* Do teachers check that students understand new ideas and skills?
* Is there feedback based on the success criteria?
*Are teachers and students asking deep level questions?
"Explicit Teaching". This document focuses on Learning Intentions and Powerful Questions and broadens these with extracts from the writing of John Hattie, Dylan Wiliam and Ron Ritchhardt.
